"From the outside, it doesn’t stand out but this place is a must for a great supper. The primary concept is 10 people seated around the hot plate with a chef cooking right in front of you, they are funny and have great showmanship. The food is delicious and you will leave full but not overstuffed. They also have private rooms that can be reserved for family and business around the same concept. A little known fact is that they offer tatami booths in the back that makes for a perfect romantic date. The menu varies from sushi to chicken, shrimp and filet mignon, a must if you wish to have a different kind of experience. They also sell a bottled version of their vinaigrette.... BUY IT! Thank me later!"

"Hands down the best salt and pepper shrimp on the South Shore of Montreal. That is no small claim. The difference is the taste, the presentation, and the accompaniments. We like to order in advance, and set a convenient time for pickup. The food is always ready on time hot and tasty and the staff is always smiling and polite. Add to this a large dining room for those who prefer to eat in. I take pleasure in supporting this local business. And I hope you will too!"

"The quality of the food at this restaurant is going downhill. Our last visit (3 years ago had made me promise myself never to go back. But we did, last week and once again I was disappointed. The general tao chicken (25$ was similar to what you get at a food court for 7-8$ with a drink: mashed chicken covered with a sugary rubber coating. This time that's it we will never be back."

"The breakfast is correct but the smoked meat very variable from good to good at all. The cup is too often incorrect and difficult to chew.... it always makes very cold in the restaurant, impossible to stay there to enjoy its coffee after the meal we hurry to get out of it. Is that so? I don't know, they complained often without any result, they must dress as a result of the cold that reigns there any time of the day, I recommend you wear long sleeves or a jacket."

"Wow is all I can say. This restaurant serves a lot of food for a small price. We had the dinner for and have never been so blown away! for soups, egg rolls, main courses and fried bananas. Also included...a tea. Each plate the brought was better than the last. I haven't had Chinese food this good in a very long time. As for people writing bad reviews because they ordered delivery and it wasn't to their satisfaction... I don't order Chinese food delivery because it's better when it's hot and served fast. I would recommend this place to everyone. Forget the restaurants in the area. This is a diamond in the rough! Worth checking out and won't break your wallet! Good service too"

"I have been to the Mile quite a few times when it first opened, it was a great place to go for lunch and drinks. Now, it has become THE place to hang out for millennials. Getting a table on a thursday friday saturday is nearly impossible...without a good hour wait. Sometimes, my friend and I will stick it out and wait, and sometimes we just give up and go elsewhere. When we do manage to get inside we always ask to sit at the bar, for many reasons: better, quicker and friendlier service, you sit closer together so you can actually hear each other talk, and if you so happen to be near the DJ on certain nights, you can ask for a few songs! I do not recommend if you want a quiet romantic evening. Food is alright for value."
