"We went to lunch and were warmly welcomed. The staff took care of us and pampered our dog. The menu is not extensive, but what they do is very good....we had Schellfisch and Chips with the homemade tartaric acid sauce The views, from The...Barn, over Skye and the Outer Hebrides make this a very special place (of course necessary weather). Definitely recommended and we will return."

"There is no atmosphere, not like in so many other pubs/restaurants etc. Very cold and uncomfortable. The food was also prepared with little love. Vegan Options: Soup of the day, a main, a dessert After the head, we didn't want to try the dessert. We didn't want to stay any longer. Staff was friendly"

"Hot food always served. That's what the sign says? There was no food left. Scraped some old soup from the bottom, enough for one of us. Pricey, place and bad service. I would not go here again, nor would I recommend it. Coffee tasted bad as well. Toilet dirty. No thank you."

"What a wonderful environment for afternoon tea. the teeservice was excellent, I think we drank a pot between us five. they just arrived! about 15 minutes (5 miles) outside portree to a magnificent location in the worth of the short trip."

"This is a lovely quirky find. The cafe an eclectic retro mix with an extensive collection of books. I think you could while away a few hours here if you'd wanted. Menu was limited but food was delicious and fresh. The courgette and halloumi muffin was to die for and coffee and tea options extensive for a venue of this size. Definitely pop in if you're passing. Toilet for customers"
