"Beautiful place. Lake Agnes was still mostly frozen in early June. Completely worth the hike. We had a tiny wait (8-10 min) to get a table around 3pm in the afternoon. Was a wonderful experience, and a tea is the perfect companion to slowly enjoy while sitting and appreciating the amazing views. Energy date ball with peanut butter was really good too. Bring cash for food, more if you want merchandise. Offer to take a bag of trash down for them if you are able (tie it to your backpack, it requires almost no effort)."

"Very empty on a Friday afternoon, which was amazing, as we had our choice of a sitting on the window. the personal was very friendly and explained the tees and fingerfoods in detail. would definitely come back."

"Mixed, but overall good. The bison steak and elk hash were fantastic. The halibut was cooked perfect but the risotto was bland and boring. A little seasoning would be nice. The saffron broth was not good. Just an oily butter sauce. Too bad because the fish was so good. Breakfast was ok to good. With only one side being rough, I'd go back based on the rest."

"We were tired and hungry by the time we got to Saskatchewan Crossing, and this resort is the only option around for miles for food. We started at the Parkway Pub where we shocked to find out that you have to grill your own burger or steak; we were tired and not in the mood to fuss with this. We asked if there was a real restaurant, and we were directed to the full-serve restaurant near the gift shop. Mt. Wilson restaurant offered quite a variety on the menu from sandwiches to main courses, including a dinner buffet. We opted for the buffet, which was a bit pricey (about $30 CAD), but the food was good. Meats were very good - baked ham, salmon, fried chicken, and meatballs; also corn on the cob, potatoes, carrots, fresh bread, and a nice salad bar; a dessert bar was also included. The server was friendly and service was good."

"Desserts were pretty good, but very sweet. The tea selection was nice and our waitress was amazing, but the overall vibe of the hotel was subpar. Would not come back between the parking issues, lack of seating restrooms, and elitist attitude."

"Certainly a peaceful resting spot after the walk in the snow and ice. A nice warm oasis in the cold of minus 5 degrees centigrade in the Canadian Rockies. 12km in the snow was a great workout. We had no snow shoes or cross country skis."

"My husband and I had the best stay and felt like the Chateau was above and beyond what we wanted. We arrived there to elope the entire time the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We ate at all the restaurants and can say that the food was AMAZING at each of them. Above this, I really do feel the staff made this stay for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to get married/honeymoon/holiday."
