"We were well informed before our stay. self-checking, rooms clean and comfortable, a little chili as one of the rads did not work, but when the personal informed, they did everything they could help. the staff was amazing, friendly helpful. we ate in the restaurant and again everything was good. we stayed two nights, the bed was so comfortable we almost missed breakfast. again the breakfast was good, my only suggestion would be a little wider choice man was on the look for porridge) and I would not have said that it was a continental 'option, as advertised. I would definitely recommend it."

"We found booked for a Tuesday night. the menu is a taste amplifier of 4, 6 or 8 curses. the 6 cursor was exceptional and everyone was unknown at the beginning. the coworkers explained every cure arrived at him, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. a relaxed environment with a lot of time between every delightful cure. a wee pairing is offered, although we decided to wee through the glass. every cursor was a taste experience on itself. the small things like the beautiful plates and the presentation of the cutlery added to the quality of the setting. the overall experience was exceptional. david wykes and his team offer the best food we ever had in a fish restaurant. definitiw a five-star experience"

"I think we had the misfortune to visit in an off-night because reviews are usually friendly and photos of previous meals looked attractive. But ours was terrible; very overpriced, very little effort on the presentation, it looked honestly like something you would get in a cheap street café. My £11 prawn cocktail looked like it had been poured out from a tub, 'artisan' sour dough bread was two thin slices of Stale Baguette, and Steak dinner (where the steak was served on a stack of chips) was dry and tasteless with a very watery peppercorn sauce with a £3 price tag. Basically disgusting and also one of the most expensive meals I have ever paid. Shit."

"The front of the hotel is beautiful. When you go to the cafe it has a “Butlins ” feel about it. It was not really what I was looking for. The staff were a bit cold when we arrived but there was one waiter who was really good."
