"I have been going to afternoon tea at the brown palace for over ten years. My most recent experience was devastatingly lack luster compared to any other time I have encountered. The wait staff rushed my mother and I into our order very inconsiderate only to leave us unattended for 30-45 min increments. The lack of attentiveness to my requests/reservations were severely disappointing, as someone who has enjoyed afternoon tea at the brown palace for so long- it was deeply disappointing."

"They have a lot of chocolate and candy, but also awesome coffee options, including a number of sugar-free coffee syrups and unsweetened almond milk! My boyfriend and I had sugar-free white chocolate lattes and they were great. I want to try the hazelnut next. They also have ice cream! And the customer service was spot on. We were attended by an older lady who was super sweet and let us try several samples. Overall, this place is a gem :"

"This is the best ice cream in Lakewood and, likely, all of Colorado. Small business that is locally owned; the owner named it after his 8&9 year old daughters and was extraordinarily kind and generous (ample free samples and patient with kids! . My kids tried (and loved vanilla and cookies n cream. I was decadent and tried the honey hotness, an amazing Brazilian honey ice cream served over amazing espresso. PLEASE try this; I want it to be around for a very long time!"

"Took awhile to find the Wednesday’s Pie (absolutely no signage. Showed up and the door was locked even though the website said they were open. I called, and the manager answered, apparently they were having a staff meeting. Came back a few minutes later and asked for a slice of apple pie, when I got my receipt the total was nearly $10 as there were two different fees added. Took the slice home and was greeted by the most sub-par piece of pie ever. Don’t bother visiting this place."
