1889 Pizza Napoletana from Meridian Station Menu

What Mike Dociu likes about 1889 Pizza Napoletana:
Good service. Decent Neapolitan style pizza. I had the Butcher. The toppings were great (especially the Italian sausage), but the crust and especially the sauce were a little bland. I like a good San Marzano sauce, but this particular sauce just was sorta forgettable. Otherwise, a good atmosphere, good experience, and solid Neapolitan pizza. View all feedback.

We were looking forward to a nice wood fired pizza. Checked the times and drive time to ensure arrival well in advance of closing. I hate showing up with less than an hour before closing. Go to door and restaurant was already closed. Reverfied closing time and they were closed more than 1.5 hours early. View all feedback.

"First time at Brunch at your restaurant, might be our last . The food choices are pretty good and they all are pretty tasty . The service however is very not up to our standards , waitress was very not attentive and the omelette order came out wrong even though we wrote on order form . You guys were pretty busy , I think staff is pretty fair , the bartender I thought was rude when asked question , he told me to ask my waitress which was fine but his tone needs to be different. All in all , good food , not so great service . Have dined there before and never an issue, maybe i should have waited and do regular menus ."

"What a wonderful family owned traditional Mexican restaurant in Mission! The family ordered street tacos, enchilada's, burrito, and quesadilla. All were fantastic, fresh, and cooked to order! Was able to wash those tacos down with a cold corona. Might be a tad on the pricey side however the love that goes into the food was worth it!"
