"I'm a regular here but the food is always amazing and well worth a visit. Choice of freshly cooked hot food (Sausage/Bacon/Egg Baguette or Rolls) and always amazing choice of tasty home made cakes. Great coffee, cold drinks and loads of different ice creams ..lollies (in the summer)."

"Sunday roast for the four of us ..excellent roast beef, tastt turkey and pork belly with crackling- just wonderful. As my father-in-law said he was impressed with the generosity of the vegetables ...and he wasn 't wrong,! Such great value and such a consistently high standard. A great Sunday lunch!"

"Visited with my fiance to mark a special occasion after having wanting to visit for ages now. He reserved a table in advance and all I can say is good job as on arrival the place was incredibly busy. Considering it was a weeknight and only a Wednesday we were very taken a back by how busy it was. We arrived just before 7 and had we not have booked a table we would have struggled to get one as I think there was only 1 free and the place only seemed to get busier as the evening went on. Always a good sign! We ordered a calzone and tell a porky shack pizza with a garlic flat bread to share between the two of us. The food was phenomenal! Absolutely incredible. The pizzas were huge! We struggled to eat it all but didn't want to leave any. They do offer pizza boxes to take away left overs. We waited around 40 minutes which I do think is a little more than the usual wait time however we didn't mind as we were too busy enjoying our drinks and chatting away just relaxing after a long day at work. We both thoroughly loved the atmosphere of the place. It's the perfect place to enjoy the nicer weather we've had lately. Just wish we hadn't of waited so long to visit. They also have table tennis which you can use which I think is a very nice touch. The pizzas are a little more pricey than other places but I do think they're worth it especially if its to celebrate a nice occasion. Cocktails are £5 between 4 and 6 weekdays so will definitely return for that. And they also offer afternoon tea . so many reasons to visit again."

"Excellent location by the Thames in a small village. Modern large pub/restaurant. Near walking routes. Large car park and grounds. Great modern decor and large well set up outside area. Sunday lunch looked good but did not eat. Felt staff had a don’t care attitude,...was strange"

"Another great visit to Tea at Hilltop (twice in 2 days! this time for lunch. The portions were generous and tasty particularly the cottage pie. And as it was Saturday had to have cake which was delicious. A lovely way to spend a few hours at the weekend. Thank you."
