"This is by far the BEST sushi restaurant in all Hamilton and area; the service and staff is excellent, never a let down or a bad experience. The food is very good; you can notice its very fresh and made with dedication. We love especially the ocean maki roll and the grilled mussels. They have a very wide menu with everything from udon and tepanyaki items such as black pepper steak, grilled shrimps and more, to sushi and rolls of all kinds, including even Thai food! Their tablet order system is very convenient and easy to use. This restaurant is perfectly comparable to other restaurants in the area who are much more expensive and don't even have the same level of service. More people should check this place out, they would be surprised! Very cool atmosphere too, an absolute ten to me."

"Six of us enjoyed a Saturday special occasion lunch. Our water and wine arrived promptly. all muni items were hot and fresh, arriving shortly after being ordered by with the iPad. Everyone was able to indulge in their favourite dim sum or sushi while also sharing new tastings ordered by friend. Portions are tiny but perfect for ordering just a taste or increasing the number if you felt like having a larger serving. It was busy but the staff are very good aa clearing and serving. There is adequate staff and it makes a difference. It is rather noisy, not a laid back relaxing atmosphere. Overall an excellent experience."

"Bul & Gogi offers Korean fare --- and yes, bulgogi of various types is one of the specialties. They also have bibimbap, stews, soups, etc. Spicing is toned down some in comparison to many Korean restaurants I have visited, but the kimchee still has enough bite to make me happy and the other appetizers are equally good. The first time I visited, I was a little skeptical --- the decor is strictly fast-food city. However, the food is fresh and plentiful and service is always excellent --- and who needs decor when you've got a feast in front of you? My favorite is the bulgogi platter, which includes beef, pork, chicken and short rib bulgogi. The heaping platter arrives with the appetizers and rice. The first time I tried it, I was sure I'd never get through all that meat. So was my daughter. But everything was so good we just dived in and kept going until it was gone. And the cost? Around $20 for this huge feast. Prices, by the way, are reasonable; the platter mentioned above is the most expensive thing on the menu. They have various rolls and wraps and lunch specials for much less. And I have yet to find anything I didn't like. The restaurant is licensed, though wine options are limited. The tea is good, though. And there's ice cream for dessert if you want it. Frankly, I've never had room. Bring your appetite, try this place once, and I bet you'll be back.Great value, great service, and great food. What more can you ask for?"

"We decided to have dinner here last Sunday because it was close to Dundurn Castle where we spent the afternoon, and when I looked it up on Trip Adivsor it had mostly positive reviews. That and we really enjoy Vietnamese cuisine, and had a hankering...for it. First positive is they have plenty of parking and it is easy to enter. The space is not fancy, but it is bright and clean and they have a big fish tank which kept our month old grandson happy. Nice people. Expansive menu offering many dishes which I have not seen on other Vietnamese menus. I had the mixed plate with pork chop, fried egg,other type of egg, shredded pork, and sausage on rice and it was delicious. The char-broiled pork chop was in particular, beautifully spiced and prepared. We four all had different dishes, and everyone was particularly happy with their meal. As a family we really like Vietnamese food and so we have had many experiences to compare it to, and we all found this to be well above average. Prices are reasonable and the serving sizes are generous. We will return."

"Picked up our order from Sushi 'O ' Fennell and was very impressed! Normally we enjoy all you can eat, but this place has great value for the size of the rolls! Ordered everything online, very easy and simple. Ordered shrimp tempura, scallops, red dragon roll,...spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll and salmon avocado roll. The red dragon roll was HUGE. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Will definitely be ordering there again, much better quality and value than all you can eat places!"
