"By looking at the website, this place looked pretty good. We called to place an order for takeout and they were very nice but they were out of a lot of things. We walked in expecting it to be crowded since it was a Friday night but there was no one there and what seemed to be a couple of servers were standing around blaring music from the speakers. The food was fine but I'm sure there's probably somewhere better. They did pitch in a free appetizer since they were out of the things we first ordered. We just weren't impressed."

"One of my favorite restaurants in Roanoke. They serve small plates that are ideal for sharing and date night. On the back of the building there is a beautiful outdoor terrace. They are on a vegan diet and can usually change several items to make them vegan. They offer a seasonal menu and support local businesses."

"Average... We came early for a Saturday lunch. Food selection on the menu was good. My son loved the tacos. My shrimp and grits were pretty good definitely better than no shrimp and grits, heavier seasoning than I expected with lots of delicious butter. Loved the touch of newspaper in the presentation! The updated decor is cold, literally and aesthetically. Lots of concrete and metal. It does make the gorgeous bar stand out, though! The service matched the decor. Nothing really stood out. A little expensive for what you get, but we may try it out again."

"Dinner here this week. In a strip shopping center and sometimes that can be a bit alarming from a variety of levels. That wasn’t the case here as the décor and layout was arranged so that you could tell it had possibly been another type of restaurant but they did try and change it a bit to give a more upscale setting. But who eats somewhere because its pretty. The food has to shine.<br>
Not sure if I was a bit finicky or the food just wasn’t inspiring or a combination of both. I saw a bunch of other sushi dishes that were truly great looking. People ate them and were expressing favorable taste. Mine wasn’t the case. I had a very unimpressive dish of Pad Thai chicken. (Pictured) Not anything bad but certainly not on par with other places in the area. If bland is possible adjective for this I would go there. <br>
The bright spot was the Nigiri sushi that I had as an appetizer. Vey good , very well done and simply melt in your mouth good. I jumped into that...

"From the Philly area, visiting in Roanoke, thought this place was excellent. I asked chef what he'd reccomend. He asked several questions about what I liked, sushiwise. Then he custom-made a roll. Fresh, flavorful, authentic. Really excellent experience."
