"We booked ahead as we liked the menu. We made the right choice asnd enjoyed scallops and potted chilli crab on sourdough to start. The sea bass that followed was very good and I must make special mention of the char-grilled leg of lamb lamb which was truly wonderful. The food was presented with care and the service excellent. Well worth a visit."

"Holidaying in Kent, we decided to head to Margate for seaside fun and fish chips. Picked Alfie’s from Trip Advisor based on rating and reviews and we weren’t disappointed. We called the night before to double check opening times, and rocked up at midday. Our order was cooked fresh and well worth the wait. Beautifully battered fish and great chips, golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Peas fritters were made fresh too and fabulous. Mega portions and very good value for money and the service was warm, friendly and efficient. If we lived in the area, we’d be regulars but we’ll definitely call in next time we visit."
