"Wanted to try a new sushi place, so we checked out humo! my partner is not vegan, so we try to go to places that we both have a lot to eat. sumo had a decent choice. I have the oshinko roll, which was very refreshing and delicious! I also have the teriyaki tofu dinner that comes with suppe, salat and white rice. if they are vegan, make sure to ask for no ingwer dressing as it mayo contains. I added a little suppe broth, soy sauce and ginger to dress my, and that was actually quite good. the tofu came out and although the portion size for the price seemed somewhat small, I was very pleasantly surprised with the taste. it was very delicate, slightly crispy and delightful with tasty sauce and fresh tasting veggies. Usually I wouldn't even order something like this when I go to sushi, but it's so good I'll get it back! the service was fast and friendly, we went around 18 o'clock on a Saturday, so I was surprised that we sat and served so quickly. I look forward to the visit of sumo again!"

"I usually come for the sushi because it's a great deal for the amount of money. Decided to try the all you can eat and once again, it's a great deal for the amount of money. You pay $25 per adult. This is different from other buffets or all you can eat places because rather than going up to get your food, you just sit and and order what you'd like. Then all of it is brought to the table for you. I don't believe there's a limit on how much you can order at once. The catch however though is that you have to pay for whatever food you don't eat. Still an incredible deal and well worth the money! The chicken and beef teriyaki were my favorites."

"I got the rainbow roll, I loved the rainbow roll, and the chef made it beautiful for me. I am not a food photographer, this plate-up required it. I have also had the Japanese style Shumi, and the Dragon roll (methinks). The Dragon roll was delightful, but I prefer no mayo or gluten. Everything is Fresh, the flavors are on point, and the staff is helpful if you need help picking out sushi. Accessibility: This is one of the easiest places I know of to get in and out of. The handicap parking is directly next to the doors, the entire gradient is flat. Even if the marked spots are taken, none of the parking is far. There is not an endless length of curb between you and where you need to be; stuffing your face with delicious sushi."

"Nice little Japanese restaurant. Not full. Serves sushi and rice dishes. The rice dishes were really great for me and I could eat it easily over two meals. They also come with Elan and Salad. I recommend getting the hot tea to wash everything."

"When I lived in Rochester, I never bought anything at Apache Mall's food court. Nothing really appealed to me. It wasn't all that great back then.Recently, I returned to this mall and looked at the options at the food court. I saw Yihi Japan, which is a Japanese stall where you can get teriyaki dishes and more. I have a soft spot for teriyaki fast food at malls. There used to be an excellent one at Markville Mall. When the mall renovated its food court area to be more upscale, this mom-and-pop stall shuttered for good. I decided to try Yihi Japan out. There were three men behind the counter. I was looking at the menu and one of them gave me a chicken morsel smothered in some sweet honey sauce on a toothpick. The chicken was yummy and the light batter around it was delicious. The sauce was too sweet for my liking, but it did have some tang to it that I enjoyed.I am a teriyaki person. The special was beef and chicken teriyaki for $12.59. I decided to splurge and got the beef and shrimp teriyaki with veggies on fried rice for $12.99. The three men were not Japanese. They were Latinos. Never judge a book by its cover. I had yummy pizza in Stockholm several years back. The man who made it was Chinese.I also got a fountain drink with my meal. I ordered a Diet Pepsi.I paid with a credit card. I got my drink first and sipped it as I waited. It was icy cold and hit the spot.One of the men was training another guy at the grill. I waited and watched. He asked if I wanted veggies, including mushrooms. Yes, please!I saw my food get carefully placed in my styrofoam container. Sadly, both my drink and this container were styrofoam. I hope that changes down the road. I let the man who had prepared my food know that he did a great job. He smiled, obviously proud of his accomplishment.I placed my drink on the tray with my food and headed to a table at the food court to chow down. There is wifi available, but it is spotty. It was enough for me to play a game on my phone as I ate.My beef and shrimp teriyaki was yummy. The beef was done perfectly. I loved the mushrooms, broccoli, and other veggies that came with my meal. The shrimp was also done perfectly. They weren't rubbery at all.The sodium level was rather high in the teriyaki sauce and proteins, though. I wish that it wasn't so salty. It became a bit of a vicious cycle to drink more because I was thirsty. Luckily, my feet didn't swell up!Yihi Japan is a nice addition to the food court. A&W has always been there, but it's nice to order food that isn't strictly labelled American at this food court.(21)"

"Everyone here was extremely attentive and friendly. My server, Jenn, was friendly and welcoming as we're the staff working the sushi bar who regularly asked to make sure everything was good and to see if I needed anything.The food was fresh, flavorful, and aromatic. The spicy basil noodles were delicious and I ate all of the large portion they were so good. Highly recommend this place"
