"Tried this place for Houston Restaurants week menu. I will say that I tried to look this place up online first and found Peska Cocina Latina on yelp. In addition, there were printed reviews inside the restaurant for Peska Seafood Culture. Not sure why so many name changes? Food was okay. Was there primarily to try out the seafood. Large portions for fried fish for the little ones, but the cilantro rice was a bit buttery. I tried the grouper it was pretty decent. I thought the hanger steak was good but my companion thought it was meh. Overall, a good try for HRW but felt like there 's other seafood restaurants available during HRW with better tasting options for similar price points."

"We went for HRW 2017 and the food was mediocre. My husband ordered from the dinner menu and his fish was raw and not cooked fully. Service was not the best. The staff didn't seemed embarrassed or concerned that the fish was not cooked. The manager then came and apologies and then took the item off our bill. We didn't have time to wait for another one to be cooked as we had to catch a movie."

"I have been a regular patron of this restaurant since almost half of my life, and it has never disappointed me, not even. Usually I am one for mama ninfas original recipes, but my partner and I decided to have two different cooking specialties. my partner had the grilled cheese carnita torta, and I had her butternut cheese soup. a regular day I am parked in a taqueria in front of a gas station, and these tortas not only remembered these good tortas, but they brought them to the next level without leaving their roots. everything was perfect. the butternut cheese soup had clear cayenne, comino and other seasoned, along with the Cotija cheese, freshly roasted pepitas, and roasted crumbles above. all this together made it even more delicious on the right way. these tortas must definitely be set to the regular menu, just say. as always I will return for another delicious meal."
