"Everyone in the south knows that it is food that brings all together, and to large food develops great conversations and even better memories. My wife and I hired 2 guys 1 Pit BBQ to celebrate our wedding last August, and they really lived up to their hype. Richard, the pit master and others showed up to the sessions before our guests arrived to ensure that the food was hot, fresh and juicy. When it was time to serve, they could do it in an orderly manner, which was a massive relief for my wife and me and our families. The last thing a wedding party wants (and finally needs) to worry about is to ensure that guests are fed and helped on the day of the wedding. Richard and his team were able to meet our needs at the same time. Make sure our guests were all served and that the food was hot! It'll make me dinner. Many know that when planning for a wedding you will be given the choice of the same thing from one cater to the next. Mostly a choice of meat (usually inconspicuous) pork, chicken or the infamous gum-like steak. However with 2 guys 1 Pit BBQ we got the choice of award-winning meat. Juicy chicken, delicate brisket and delicious sausage. In all honesty it was the best BBQ I ever had (also with several excursions to the Houston Rodeo Cook-Off). Not only have they set a catering precedent; they also changed the game for decisions on wedding dinner. You no longer have to choose between Bland or less Bland, you have the opportunity to choose juicy and wonderfully slowly cooked BBQ. The conversation at our wedding turned quickly from how sweet the couple is to hurt this food is absolutely amazing what my wife and I made very happy. After months of planning 2 Guys 1 Pit BBQ really brought our wedding together. We are proud to say that they lived up to their name and satisfied all 152 of our guests. They were PROFESSIONAL, FLEXIBLE and extremely WELL PRICED. Many of your guests will only remember snippets of your wedding, make sure you are standing with great food from Richard and fantastic team of catering experts!"

"I’ve been ordering to go from this place for a long time. Almost every time we spend over $50 at least 4 times a month. I used to tip often when the person taking the order was friendly over the phone. Lately, there seems to be new people each and every time I call. They don’t seem to be thrilled about working there.Part of what I liked about it was that it was fast and convenient. There’s two parking spots reserved for To Go orders only. Which apparently they don’t enforce because when I went to pick up my order there was an empty car in one of the spots. I waited for the other to open up, but because I was waiting I assume the person who already had his order decided that he was going to be a tool that day and not leave. So both spots were taken.I called to see if I could pay over the phone and quickly go in to grab my food since I had my sleeping infant and I didn’t want to get off and leave him in the car. Also I had a limp due to an injury. The lady who pronounced queso as “Kay-so” said that they no longer take payment over the phone. So I waited 5 minutes to see if the a-hole would move, but he wasn’t leaving. I quickly parked, grabbed the carrier, with my limp and took no more than 3 minutes to pay and get my order.Food is always just okay. The only reason we went again, was for convenience. Even if there is a new rule about not taking payments over the phone, they could have offered to pick up my card and bring my order out like other places have done…Or at least enforce the parking rule as I’ve seen many people park there who aren’t just picking up.Will not go there ever again."

"I have been to this location multiple times since it’s opened and have always enjoyed the food and beer selection but the service has been the biggest let down overall. We recently visited the location this past weekend for dinner and we were three different groups that asked to sit at the “communal” center table but we asked to be three different groups since we were all paying for ourselves. The hostess said no problem at all and just let your waitress know. The waitress came over and we explained that we were three separate groups that require separate tickets and are not together. The waitress said sure, no problem and took our order. They were fairly busy and service wasn’t great, we sat for 10 minutes at the table before anyone came over to introduce themselves and minimal interaction throughout the time we were there. The waitress brought the bill over with a “mandatory” gratuity of 20% because we were a large party of 10 or more people. I spoke to her and explained that we’re not together, we asked to be treated as separate tickets and you said “no problem”. She went to speak to her manager and the manger so we came in together and “knew” each other so that’s a large party. I explained the conversation with the hostess and that there were multiple families (small town) that we knew that we were all eating at the same time and there were 4-5 families sitting at the “communal” table so you policy (clearly stated on the menu) seems convoluted in order to appease what ever situation suits you. She denied my request again and I told the waitress I would have given 25% if she would of handled the situation better and not forced the issue just because I understand the business. Poorly handled, manager never came over to discuss with us and hung the waitress out to dry and terrible way to treat your local customers. I will not be returning anymore after this failed attempt."
