"We had just driven for 5 hours, checked in to the hotel and wanted a quick family dinner at a place that would have plenty to choose from. Kelsey's should do, right? Picking something for everyone was easy enough and the server was quite nice. The menu looked great. The challenges we had were this: My wife's drink looked great, but tasted like it still had chemical detergent in the mason jar. They replaced it without hesitation. I had ordered from the big burly burger section and got a peppercorn behemoth. only to find that the behemoth came with two patty's more akin to McDonald's junior burger and over salted fries. My poor wife ordered nachos that were cold in the middle, ie, the cheese was not melted. My son could only say his calamari was ok. he's 12 and loves calamari. My daughter played it safe with the mac and cheese and loved it. I will say, that the gravy was loved by all! I remember Kelsey's as offering solid roadhouse fare at decent prices. When did they start skimping on portions, neglecting quality and becoming a let-down?"
