"Meal was good. Went for the meatloaf for lunch but limited menu until 2pm so that was a bummer. Food was ok. Service was fantastic! Desserts were dried out and tasted a week old. Probably won’t be back, there are better options with better chile."

"Happy hour at Burger Bach is the best thing since Rick Astleys overnight rise to stardom as an internet siging sensation. Nowhere else can you go to get half off canned beer, dollar oysters, AND happy hour wine. Makes a great weekday date night, and the outside seating overlooks the sunset. You don't really get that at very many places."

"Lovely food and fairly fast. Service is adequate but you're there for the food. Tea leaf salad was a hit as were the onion fritters. Fish curry was very light on curry but still worth ordering"

"I was often in the skillet diner and it's good solid high diner eating. I must say, however, that for the first time I noticed that they calculate a 5% service that is automatically added to their bill. her server never says a word about it (on one of the 4 or 5 times I have been there) so I assume it has always been there and I just never noticed it. I am totally in order with a service fee, I actually prefer when restaurants are just the 20,% distributed to both in front and behind house, but I never had a place where it is calculated and the server does not mention or there is only no place for gratity on the credit card reception. then, skillet sets the various amounts for 15.% 20% top etc. listed below as many restaurants do (AFTER tax, I could add that again, I don't think appropriate). So I tipped 20.%, then I noticed the small print they had already charged me 5%. it's a little unfair that they didn't mention that. I made my tip as written, but with a not great feeling about the place."
