"We love the cadland and his personal. it is a very welcoming and cozy pub, always warm and welcoming when the fires are illuminated. the personal is friendly and linguistic and always chatting. when we have mealtimes, they are excellent quality, like the drinks and snacks."

"Awful fish finger sandwich. Luckily I checked inside to find it raw!! I couldn’t believe this could happen. It’s only fish fingers after all. The Mocha was barely warm. Totally a waste of my time and money! Toilets were filthy and nothing was available to dry my hands on. I will never visit again!"

"Booked in to the Grand Siam for Valentines night and was not disappointed. We arrived on time and was quickly shown to our table. Menus arrived quickly as did a request as to if we would like a drink. Not knowing too much about Thai food we opted for the set menu for 2 at £23 per head. Do not order this menu unless you have a very large appetite or there are 4 of you. Our starter of Chicken mushroom soup was very good. This was followed by a platter of mixed starters consisting of Prawn Toast, chicken in rice paper, 2 small spring rolls and chicken Satay sticks. The main course was a Beef dish , a prawn dish and a chicken dish and was accompanied by Noodles and egg fried rice. We had a bottle of acceptable Shiraz. We could not eat all of the food but the staff were happy enough to put the excess into food containers for us to take away. Our dogs enjoyed it the next day . All in all good value for money at around £65. Will we go again. Definately."
