"I'm not sure how to check this business. Although they have a large selection of items that cannot be bought anywhere, their rusts were very dry as their apricots that could be that some of their stock is far behind their sale date."

"I am aware that our geographic survey in all edinburgh is not entirely what it could be and will be from where we tend to spend most of our time. So when there was an opportunity to lunch in polwarth, I jumped by chance. for the first time the queen vicky had suggested the piecebox that sounded good to me. I had visited one because the nearby odds ends, and I heard good dinge about streat hawker in the polwarth tavern, but that is otherwise quite unexplored territory for me."

"Our daughter who is a frontline Healthcare worker in Edinburgh is currently off work due to illness. We are in Ireland and are unable to take care of her. Friends of hers in Australia made contact with THE BLUEBIRD CAFE in Edinburgh and ordered the...most wonderful brownies and scones and they also sent a caring note which was personally delivered to our daughter’s apartment by a wonderful lady from THE BLUEBIRD CAFE. Our daughter was stunned with this wonderful surprise and gesture and it was an emotional morning for her. This caring thought and service gave her a huge boost in her time of need. We are extremely grateful to know that a business will still go such a long way in the current climate to bring hope and help to some one who needed a little care and support during their time of need. Well done and a big thank you to BLUEBIRD CAFE."

"I had a few supplies of the codfather, both came on time and hot. the pizzas are made fresh and are really good I recommend the vegetarian supreme. the veggie burger meal is also a veggie burger in a bungalow with chips and a dose soft drink. the burger is deep fried, but very tasty when it is in the mood for something unhealthy, the price is also good. the load could do with something work to make it look better, but the staff is friendly and eating is freshly prepared and fast."

"We were visiting Edinburgh from the USA and were very impressed! Don't be deterred by the one or two negative reviews below...this place is lovely. It's welcoming, warm, and cozy. It also had the best espresso out of all the spots we tried in Edinburgh...which is saying a lot because good coffee in the UK is hard to find, in our experience. The food is delicious and you can tell it's made with love. Finally, you must try their Victorian Sponge Cake.....it was AMAZING."

"We stayed for a night at this hotel while visiting our son in Edinburgh. The entire experience was outstanding, and to date this Best Western Hotel is the best we have stayed in. Our evening meal was very good, and the staff who served us worked superbly as a team and were very customer focussed. The included breakfast was also very good with a wide choice of breakfast items. The room we had was a Premier room, spacious and clean. Overall this was an exceptional hotel, from the perspective of value, quality and the standard of service. Highly recommended."
