"We stumbled across this place on a recent visit to NYC. I would consider this the perfect place. Intimate with good lighting and music, great food and a good wine list. Also some very interesting and unique décor.... Check out the loo It's like entering a different world. Loved it. Our only regret was going to see an opera at the Met instead of catching some jazz here and nailing some cocktails instead."

"This place has a wonderful vibe. We tried the sunflower beet hummus, paneer nori rolls and the minestrone soup from the starters; vegan lasagna, palak paneer bowl, kitchari and a custom bowl with buttermilk biscuit from the mains, and pistachio fudge from the dessert menu. The food was execellent overall. We also tried the drinks menu which included Kir Royale, Tamarind Ginger soda, Ayurvedic Chai. The beverages being non-alcoholic is a major plus point! The menu highlights how the food impacts you and I thought that was a nice touch. The food is healthier when compared to your regular Indian restaurants. However, the vegan lasgna tasted good only after eating with the chutney that it came with. The minestrone soup wasn’t delicious either. All things considered, this restaurant is about healthy and conscious eating and it delivers on that. I would certainly recommend this place!"

"Chef Mehta is a charming culinary master with creative takes on his plates. A one man show, it is impressive to watch him operate, serving the 15 or so guests the place can accommodate. Although, the speed of service does take a hit. The plates were tasty but very small tapas style fusions of vegetarian friendly Indian and Asian flavors, and for the price there are ample venues offering better value meals in both quantity and quality. That said, it was a unique experience, highlighted by the fact that Chef Mehta did everything alone from confirming the reservation via phone call to serving dessert to swiping my credit card and entertaining the child at our neighboring table. Ultimately it's a place I would definitely recommend visiting once... but maybe not more."
