"Purchased rice and chicken for my 7 year old son After eating a few spoons he started vomiting. When I smelt the rice and realised they had gone off and when I called the shop to complain the manager Anwar started being rude and admitted the rice was off and should have been put in the bin. I have been using Mr Cod for years but no more....Poor food and services but the attitude of the management is far worse."

"The pizzas are delicious and the people are incredibly nice and helpful. we have ordered the wrong thing that it was vegetarian, and they were very nice to order us something else. also, the Passion-Fruchtschwanz is really nice."

"I don’t usually leave very negative reviews,but I cannot help this one. Absolutely the worst so called King Prawn dumplings I have ever tasted, some sort of paste in the dumplings which doesn’t even taste like prawns. They should be ashamed of these. Udon spicy...Noodles also no taste , watery soup , not spicy at all. Worst fast food . They should be Ashamed to be associated with Korean Japanese food. Just keep to the sushi if you go there."

"Worst indian restaurant i ever have been to..I had a terrible experience at River Spice Reading . The food was not tasty at all, it was just too spicy with no flavour to it. They simply put chilli powder into every curry after preparation and I wasn't even sure if the chicken was fully cooked or not. I felt sick after eating there. The service was really bad, the staff were rude, lazy and unprofessional. They ignored us most of the time and took ages to bring our food and drinks. I have ordered dumpings and they gave me a chicken roll.. Orderer 330 ml beer and gave me 660 ml beer..I do not recommend River Spice Reading to anyone looking for a good Indian meal in Reading town. You will regret it!"

"We had a fantastic bottomless brunch. Very friendly, efficient service, Prosecco (by the bottle) flowing and great food (2 courses) We started lunch at 1.30 and when we had finished that, we stayed all afternoon and into the evening drinking 2for1cocktails!"
