"Aunty Mena's is a regular hangout for me these days. A while back (years) I had tried it and been less than impressed. But my family convinced me to go back. They have excellent fresh food which is delicious. I especially love their laksas and curries. Stay away from the Gado Gado and mock chicken legs though. However especially try their dumpling laksa and their vegan roti!! The dumpling laksa is delicious. The prices are a little higher than some of the other very cheap Malaysian restaurants in the area but the food quality is higher and it's well worth it. The decor is not fantastic but who cares. Also it can be either empty or very crowded. It seems to vary greatly. Also their deep fried food such as their deep-fried hash browns and their vege balls are wickedly good."

"Dinner at 6pm on a week day. It was busy. I've never been here before and the thing that struck me most was the size of the place once you're inside. That, and you feel transported away from Cuba street. Nice decor and pizza over create a nice ambiance.<br/ <br/ We ordered a Peroni and a bellini. Food; the tomato pasta with a side salad and the veggie pizza. <br/ <br/ Given how bust they were the food arrived in 10 minutes, which was great. Each dish was simple, fresh and flavoursome. The pasta was rich in flavour, the salad crisp with a delicious drizzle of oil and the pizza, light, crisp and loaded with toppings. The chili oil had a good kick to it too. Dishes were s good size too. We were stuffed.<br/ <br/ We took away a tiramisu to eat at home. Delicious and expertly made, good balance of flavours. Only thing was (for the price) a very small portion, but it wasn't a massive deal.<br/ <br/ The staff are super attentive, but more so, very polite and helpful. <br/ <br/ All up $91.00.<br/ <br/ We're planning our next visit already!"

"The restaurant is nice and spacious. The side dishes are bonus when having dinner/ lunch. Kimchi and potato kimchi is good but the seaweed is quite chewy and taste a bit weird. We ordered BBQ for 2, with spicy pork, spicy squid and bulgogi marinated beef. The taste is good and the presentation is OK. The customer service is Ok but the toilet is quite dirty."

"Unfortunately this place isn't as flash as it used to be. Upper city prices in suburbia with minimal meat in dishes and mixed veges thrown in some. Good place for a byo night out but at $20+ a main you would expect better food (someone ordered the fish dish at our table and there was only three or so tiny bits in it). Also, on a prior visit I ordered the duck dish and there was hardly any duck in the dish at all."

"I'm so glad they opened a filiale in cbd, now I can just go to the Ramen shop. I can't speak for the meat dishes or the authenticity of the crows, but the veggie rämen options are absolutely divine! the amount is perfect fills them up, but they do not feel bloed because the broth is so light, but so very tasteful, thanks to delivered in part of the umami by the picked shishatake mushrooms."

"Really nice pub, excellent customer service. They do these awesome little cheese ball things and these other little things (I cant remember the name of) which also contain cheese.<br/ <br/ Nice outdoor area as well. Has a safe, homely feel about it."
