"We arrived on a Sunday and the place was not busy. Our orders arrived a minute or two after we ordered and I wondered how they had time to cook it. Both plates were dry and obviously nuked leftovers from the night before. We had read complimentary revues of this restaurant which was why we reserved here but our experience was not good."

"We ate there this evening and had tuna, shrimp, snails, and boeuf tartare like I've never had before! Wonderfully spiced. A very nice Moroccan influence. (Plus, my eight year old daughter ate almost everything before I had a chance. If she likes it, I know it's good. Service was excellent, and the cost was incredible for a meal that would have cost twice as much elsewhere. Worth the trip!"

"I hate to post bad reviews but I don't understand how people can serve you food like this and look in your eyes after. It's bad, very-very bad food. It's not your cousin cooking a dinner for you. It's professional cookers make something for you...and ask money for that. Salad with toasted goat cheese looks like a very small portion of the cheapest salad leafs, two sliced of tomato and two toasts, which you are not able to bite without breaking the teeth. Meet is full of fat. Rise has no salt, no pepper. Nothing. Just concentrates all sadness of this dinner. We spent very cool day in Arles but the dinner was totally failed. Thought service was very good."

"I was lucky to find this gem of a place whilst in Arles. A small chalkboard menu set down a tiny street off the Rue de la République. The host was incredibly helpful in translating the meals for me. I ordered slow cooked lamb on polenta which was delicious. The sauce was amazing. An absolute umami flavour and the addition of hazelnuts was perfect. I don’t normally order a dessert but the poached nectarine with meringue and yoghurt icecream was sensational. A must go to!"

"I ate lunch here and thought it so good that I would return for dinner. For lunch I had the tuna tartare with ginger and coriander which was delicious. As I was in a hurry I didn’t really take any notice of the service. Upon...my return for dinner I ordered a pre dinner drink then the duck breast. That was the last I saw of the waiter and it was early in the evening so not very busy. No checking that my meal was ok or that I would like another drink. Nothing. Until I had finished my meal and by then I was so disappointed that I left. With so many other fantastic options in Arles I think you need better service to stay in the game."
