every time I pass from arles I stop to eat in this characteristic place. I read the reviews and honestly disagree. Unfortunately I can't talk about other dishes because every time I come here I take the lamb tajine with plums and almonds and honestly I find it fantastic. cous cous is delicious and when it tastes like tajine sauce (because you need it separately) it is simply superb. the waiter is very kind and helpfu... What Aiden Walter doesn't like about L'Amandier:
Found by accident searching for a restaurant open on a Sunday evening. Main course tagine was tasty and a very generous portion. Dessert was disappointing pear tart very dry and hardly any pear content. Service a little slow and haphazard. There are better options...for the price I would say. View all feedback.
Interminable service, our 2 main dishes still not served after an hour and a quarter wait, while the child menu was served after only 45 minutes: results, we don't have lunch together...Revençal eggplant that are actually eggplants with tomato concentrate.Dirty openers, restaurant and restaurateur neglected (in addition to being unpleasant...).
Very good value quality price .aubergines exellentes .plat of the day :thon and ratatouille maison exellent. succulent house pie! all this for a menu at 17€ !a highly recommend!
If I had read the comments I would not have gone there and yet. we came by chance to this empty restaurant where the map seemed to us despite all the enchanting. The meal was delicious, succulent eggplants, trout and intercoast as well. everything was home and especially fries with new potatoes (very recognizable to taste). It was delicious from beginning to end and we didn't wait. I think something has changed since the horrible comments or that we have to come when there is only a few people (3 tables of 2 people tonight). We were really happy. Try the experiment.
A small simple but welcoming kitchen of good quality a dish of good day. Well served
Due to the lack of an open restaurant, on Monday noon in January, we fell on the one here, close to the theatre: a lot of dishes, listed on the menu, finished and those served any: short to use only in case of troubleshooting.
