"This Whole Foods location was the choice since it is near my neighborhood and close to home. It is not the biggest Whole Foods, with every gourmet station and specialty food bar like the ones in the 'burbs but it holds it weight to the best of them. It is small compared to some of the other locations around the DMV, but what I like about this location is that it is always well stocked....with all the right grocery items and Whole Foods basics. Given the current COVID situation and the impact it is having on grocery store stock everywhere.......I came here on a Friday evening and surprisingly, I found all the ingredients I needed to make....in my mind.... a Top Chef inspired Paella. There was a seafood department where I was able to snag a few key items like shrimp, mussels and scallops...all at a good deal. The seafood selection was fresh and the presentation very appealing too. In addition, the veggies and spices I needed (including saffron) were all stocked and available as well. And, of course!....a decent bottle of white wine to wash it all down...mandatory!! Nothing like shopping for groceries and being able to find everything you need in one place! And surprisingly, everything I needed for under $45 bucks! Not to mention...having Amazon Prime definitely helped discount a few items...and bring the whole paycheck ....to a thank you Lord I 'm not broke grocery bill at the register! Shhh...I will admit tho ' I used basic Uncle Ben 's box rice from elsewhere to add into the dish as the base to the paella. lol Needless to say, the dish came out perfect and the goods from this Whole Foods...made me shine like one ol ' esteemed Michelin Star Chef in front of my friends that I invited over to feast on my creation (see pic in this review)! The Nom-noms and little conversation at the table...was an indicator of that!! To be such a small WholeFoods, this place was well stocked. And, operating both in the isle and cashier line at 6 feet social-distancing was in full effect. Both customers and employees were reminding folks of it. Also, 6ft distance markers on the floor at all cashier lines were helpful. Kudos to this store, for this small but important shopping experience and jesture in my opinion. In all, a good Whole Foods location for quick grocery runs, fresh produce and hard to find, quality grocery items. The selection of produce is great and really fresh. Heck, the beets and carrots were so fresh...that they looked like they were just plucked out of my backyard and were still covered in dirt! Talk about farm to table....Way to go Whole Foods. lol The only challenge with this store is that it can get very crowded, congested in the aisle during peak times and the cashier lines are long, but they move fast."
