"I ate here quite regularly when I was a patient at Queen 's Square Hospital around the corner. Well priced with ridiculously huge portions. I love the pizza bread (Pizza All 'Aglio) which is a steal at £3.50 for a whole pizza with olive oil, fresh tomato sauce and garlic, but minus the cheese. Another dish I have fond memories of is the spaghetti with broccoli and anchovy. They serve a melon flavored limoncello which is spectacularly good."

"Great Italian. the food we had here. interesting menu, with many specials to choose from. the eating was great, only a small critique we had was that we, because the on the top floor cozy restaurant was full, were placed on the lightly uncontaminated cellarable in which we were the only inmates. The pizzas and pastas seem homemade and are cooked to order, with generous toppings, also seems very popular for takeaways. a good choice, on wet and windy Thursday night"

"The food is always amazing! We had a parmigiana and pizza and it was great as always. It's the place to go for your Italian fix! Also their home made lemonade is delicious. The service is pretty quick and the waiters are always so lovely and attentive at my local branch (Belsize Park Station and that really makes one's day! Thank you Belsize Park Franco Manca team :"

"I'm from Manchester and I don't come to London often so I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I was down there this weekend. Long story short I ended up at Nelson. I started with grilled parma ham, then went on to...a duck breast main and finished with a tiramisu. I find it hard to put into words how much I enjoyed my meal. I don't have a bad word to say about it. The only restaurant which comes close to making a duck breast so perfect would be Evuna in Manchester so I can safely say the Nelson is putting out top tier food on the regular. Thank you for such a treat Antonio (head chef) company. I also mustn't forget to mention the bar staff at Nelson who were very helpful in both assisting me in choosing something off their menu and bring me a pint of Peroni every now and again, so thank you Michelle and Kristina. If I'm ever down in London again I'll definitely be making a stop at Nelson and I urge any visitors to London to do the same. Undoubtedly an excellent Italian dining experience. Splendid."

"A hungry diner’s dream. Spaghetti and meatballs are to die for at Il Fornello! Yummy! I also ordered half a bottle of Barolo to go with it. I was in heaven. Something wholesome and something naughty, a hungry diner’s dream. My wife loves fish, so she chose the Scampis ala Provenzale we learned Il Fornello is famous for. The staff were very kind and helpful (they promptly brought extra napkins). Next time we’ll come with the kids and I’ll have a fish dish too."

"Visited with a friend who recommended. We tried a selection of cakes, including the green tea strawberry cake, saint honore cake and the chocolate gateaux with some green tea. All was absolutely delicious. I wish I could have eaten more but was so full. It’s...a little pricey but so worth it. Will definitely be back. The staff are super friendly and help with any dietary requirements. There is limited seating so you’ll be lucky to get a seat but you can always take away!"
