"We waited 20 minutes in line, we waited 20 minutes for our food, it was around 1130am and my partners pancakes didn't come till 45 minutes later. The pancakes were half cooked and still really doughy.Only good thing about this place is the drinks. Service was alright. Wait for table and food is terrible."

"Fusion is favourite restaurant in Burwood for breakfast, lunch and dinners. They have a good selection of hot pots, soups, seafood and meat dishes. They have a good selection of drinks with the hot milk tea being a favourite with my wife. Service is efficient and there is never a significant wait for food even though the restaurant is usually pretty full. One tip is to raise your hand when you want the wait staff to take your orders. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced and usually comes out at less than $20 per person for food and a drink. Some of the meat dishes are dearer and they also have higher end banquets on offer,The floor manager is always there to greet us - we wonder is he ever has a day off ;-)"

"Cheers Cut is a new taiwanese fried place that just opened in Burwood. It's located in Murray Place arcade near Subway and Cha Time just a short walk from Burwood station. I tried their 12 oz fried chicken with added chilli powder. The chicken is definitely huge though I didn't take any pictures as I was famished. Found the chicken juicier, crispier and I liked it more than hotstar as the bone to meat ratio is better. Will definitely go back to try their beef and seafood versions edit: Have been back a couple times. Definitely recommend getting the chilli powder on it instead of the sauce."

"I went there without any expectations and was highly disappointed and angry. (apparently it is very busy usually and people book there first before going but we got lucky - I don't know see why so many people go though) Firstly, we were sitting there for perhaps 5-10 min as they cleaned up the table for us and then spent another 5min staring around aimlessly until they gave us a menu. Secondly, it took so long for the food to arrive- by the way, we ordered pretty simple dishes such as some buns which they probably just had to place into the oven to warm it up for a bit but still took ages. Thirdly, every dish was TOO SALTY, even the dishes they had strongly recommended to us. Even I with my savoury tongue could not handle it- it was as if they forgot to look at how much salt to put in. It was so salty that we were very tempted to order multiple bowls of plain rice (but didn't as we ordered fried rice- which was also very salty) and had to have a bowl of water to wash down the food. Perhaps the only good things there were the tea (to cleanse the salt), the atmosphere- there was a friendly buzz of chatter- and one of the waitresses (she was exceptionally polite and informative). Strongly do not recommend this place!"
