"It's been a long time since we decided to try a breakfast meal at Humpty's. We read the reviews on TA and decided to give it a go. It was a good choice. Even though the restaurant was quite busy we received good service from our waiter. The coffee was free flowing and really good. We both had the eggs and ham breakfast with tater tots and rye toast which was quite yummy. Good job Humpty's we will be back soon."

"Five of us traveled and needed a quick lunch break. This place is very easy, but the food was what you would expect on a roadside quick lunch. Portions were large, service was good, washrooms clean."

"I love this place. They have the best close to home cooked food. Service is always great and prices are reasonable. We have had the Roast Beef dinner as take out a couple of times. Generous portions of beef, delicious yorkshire pudding, potatoes, gravy and...vegetables. Definatley recommend them."

"Argos is a family business in the region .. it is a great variety to its menu great selection for all... best children's menu... my grandchildren love to eat there!!! The main rib on fridays is my favorite!!! But breakfast is so delicious and fair prices! Homemade cakes and soups ... The staff is always friendly and offers a great service."

"Surprised and disappointed with my lunch experience at Bugler's restaurant at the Elkwater Lodge. Ordered fish & chips (3 side choices; soup or salad or fries), I ordered soup.....so my fish came all by itself on the plate. When I questioned my meal the very nice server discussed with the chef who very loudly and rudely said I had ordered the soup for my side. I think they need to clarify their menu - fish & chips includes CHIPS!"

"I thought the Rustlers' Corral had closed years ago, but I was delighted to find out I was wrong. It's a rustic kinda place, but the place has some decent food at reasonable prices. Steak sandwich is my favourite, and I have to have their homemade cheesecake. When I learned that everything is homemade, I was so pleased. Located just off the TransCanada Highway, hidden behind the PetroCan gas station."

"We were on our way to Calgary and decided to try Perkins for lunch/breakfast in Medicine Hat. It was an easy find from the TransCanada Hwy. Our server was pleasant and quick to acknowledge us after we were seated quickly by the hostess. My husband ordered the Chicken Strip Melt and I chose Build-A-Breakfast of Eggs, sausage, hash browns and buttered toast. All were cooked to order and tasty. We have Perkins' Restaurants in FL, but haven't eaten in one in years. This was a very pleasant experience. Good Coffee too."
