"Food is very bland. Old white folks food or somebody who did not grow up eating real American breakfast. Food needed to be doctored up to taste good. Gravy is bland. How do you make gravy tasteless? Seems like this place has been around for a while so folks just love it because of it's nostalgia. Pancakes are very chewy..takes a lot of effort to eat with like no flavor. Great portion sizes. No restroom. Quick service. Won't be back."

"Yeah I was going through my reviews and I couldn’t find my review for Kettles! Turns out I’ve never made one…. That is surprising to me because Kettles is one of my favorite restaurants, not just Vietnamese restaurants, favorite of all time! Folks, literally everything is good here. I come for the Pho but I have tried many other things on their menu coming with other people. Their rice plates are good. Their appetizers are good. The other specials including Bun Bo Hue are good. They are very consistent with serving up tasty dishes! Now back to the Pho. I live in a town that doesn’t have a good Pho place so I travel 50 miles to Santa Rosa just for Kettles! Their pho is some of the best I’ve ever had. They don’t skimp on ingredients here and there’s always a large portion of meet. The Combination Pho comes with tripe, tendon, brisket, flank steak, and meatballs. I always omit the tripe because it’s like chewing on rubber bands but that’s just me. I always ask for extra lime and basil and have never once been charged for these extras. The wait staff are always super kind and fast. Kettles is my happy place. ??"

"Had breakfast with my son here at o'dark 30. We were the only ones there for about a half an hour. The food was great and we had the wait staff to ourselves. If you need an early bite, this is your place!"

"We waited an hour to get our food. It wasn’t busy when we went. My friend and I could hear the employees arguing with each other. No one came in to check on us, or to let us know that there was going to be a long wait for our food. When we decided to get up and leave, our food finally arrived. There was no apology or anything. I ordered a “Beni” which included potatoes and a salad. What I got was a Beni with a couple of boiled potatoes and a dollop of black something and like 4 pieces of lettuce with dressing and a single sliver of red onion. The fact that I can actually count the pieces of food on my plate is… to say the least… ridiculous. Not only did we have a bad experience, but we literally saw another table next to us wait the same amount of time as us but only get half of the plates they ordered."
