"Café Avenida Restaurant is one block from Stauffacher and accessed from the major tram lines. They offer a few sidewalk tables, but there is a bit of traffic at this intersection. Inside, there are mostly small round tables with tablecloths covered by a glass top. On the menu is a light breakfast i.e... Yogurt, muesli, breads, pastries, hot/cold beverages, toast, salads, soups and sandwiches. They offer a set daily lunch time meal specials priced around 16CHF for the veggie selection to approximately 18CHF for the meat/fish option which includes a salad. I ordered a mango tea (5.50CHF) that was all fresh ingredients and spices (not packaged), and the waitress was so nice she even poured it for me! The couple running the place were just so friendly and welcoming upon me entering the café and it made me feel like a regular, appreciated customer. They offer newspapers, free secured Wi-Fi and clean restrooms.Café Avenida is open weekdays 06-18, Saturday 07-17 and closed Sunday and holidays. Definitely will return and recommend!"

"It is so hard to find a beautiful place in zürich that does not require a reservation, or to wait in a waiting queue for an hour. grain is just a few minutes from the city centre on the 5/6 tram, right next to the church...Fluntern stop. my wife and I thought after visiting the zoos for an excellent Sunday brunch and stayed at the end to try the dinner menu! the food is excellent, and there are 6x rotating guests beer on hahn, in addition to a many number of craft beer in bottle and doses from all over the world. grain is a hidden gem with a spacious restaurant, beautiful outside terrace and lots of space. there is even a bowling alley in the cellar! top tipp: ask for daves homemade Haveero sauce with the breakfast burrito! it is really delicious and spicy and if they like hot sauce, everything from the menu will increase to the next level!"

"A wonderful, picturesque and quirky small café in Zurich serves a delicious international selection. We came to breakfast and they even had full English breakfast and mamosas! The owner was a beautiful lady super friendly and sweet. The food was divine and the atmosphere did not pretentious...and beautiful. Super super low prices we were pleasantly surprised!!! I recommend everyone."
