"Pour notre dernier soir sur Aix nous avons décidé de nous installer sur la terrasse ensoleillée du restaurant qui semblait être en tous points agréable. Au moment de commander, nous avons attendu pas mal de temps, le serveur ne nous a jamais apporté de carte, il nous a conseillé un rosé qui s'est révélé être ultra cher, nous avons attendu notre pizza pendant 30 minutes, tout comme la sauce piquante et notre sirop ! Pour couronner le tout, au moment de payer l'adition, le serveur nous a tout bonnement demandé de payer UNIQUEMENT en cash et s'est bien gardé de nous montrer un ticket ! En conclusion : rien de fou et grosse arnaque allez ailleurs si vous le pouvez !"

"This pizzeria is basically a take out joint with three tables in front of the counter. The pizzas are good (if not cheap at €13 a pop)! and the staff very friendly. It's perfect if you're staying at the nearby Renaissance hotel and want a quiet night. Remember to take your own bottle of wine as they don't serve alcohol."

"Nous sommes revenu encore une fois dans ce très bon restaurant ou tout est quasi fait maison. Les entrées, plats et desserts sont très copieux avec du goût et bien assaisonnées. L'accueil est très sympathique et les prix sont tout à fait corrects. Nous y reviendrons et le recommanderons."

"Almost at the top of Cours Sextius it is easy to walk past Mama Pig without realising that it does foodThe front half is a cafe with about 16 covers and an open kitchen. At the back is a a room with pictures of tattoos and various items of clothing and books on sale and on display (like an upmarket fashion shop/ art shop/ museum place all in one) - there is also a room with a big window that you can look into. It looks like a clinic/dungeon. There were stairs leading downstairs that we did not exploreMost the staff wore lots of tattoos - but this is not an intimidating place - they were all beaming and friendlyThere is a short menu offering brunch/ cafe foodThere is a display of American and British food on displayThe menu nods strongly towards the USA - macaroni cheese, baked beans and burgers, but also has French sandwiches and pastriesThe lady who does the cooking is not tattooed and makes everything from scratchI ordered a burger and I saw her cut the cabbage and carrot and dress it to make the slaw. Similarly my wife's cheese and tomato sandwich required one of the other staff to go out and return with fresh tomatoes which were then sliced and added to the sandwich being constructedJuices turned up in jars and the salt and pepper pots are in tine confiture jars - very amusingThe food was very good - the burger really tasty with sweet mustard in swirls on the toast enclosing the freshly cooked meat patty and salad leaves. I also got a plate of baked beans - haricot and kidney beans and chick peas - in a tomato sauce with bacon and a sweetness that we presumed was maple syrup - warm and really delicious The toasted cheese and tomato sandwich my wife had was greatly appreciatedWe finished off with lovely coffeeThe cost was fairly minimalAs we were leaving the cook came rushing out with a bag with a brownie in it, on the house, for my young daughter who had decided not to eat with us. My daughter greatly enjoyed the brownie laterThe place is amusing and slightly edgy, it is immaculately clean. The toilets are quirky and cleanThe staff friendly, the food tasty and fresh and very reasonably pricedWe really enjoyed the experience"
