"We had dinner in the restaurant. I had a churrasco steak and my wife had a spaghetti dish with shrimp. Both meals were flavorful and cooked properly. No other guests in the restaurant, but we were early and the hotel didn't seem to be very busy the week we were there. Pleasant food."

I went to the beautifully decorated caffe in the red lion hotel on a Tuesday I thought I would have to fight for a place and I was just there. Panini fix is not serving the kind of sandwich that comes to mind when I hear the word panini For me, Panini conjures the (admittedly Americanized) sandwich grilled in a press, with wavy, crusty, golden-brown and toasty bread, and warm fillings all smooshed together and melty. The sandwiches at Panini Fix are not this kind of Panini. They are all served on ciabatta bread (the only bread offered) which is very lightly grilled/toasted (emphasis on VERY), and possibly toasted in advance. "I don't like it. they serve both American and authentic Chinese dishes here, and while their American dishes are one-dimensional and not all that good, their authentic dishes are much better. try her szechuan beef only hot and spicy enough and very well cooked. the service can be a bit strange here, but timely. I was upset that her little suppenaries are not served at the weekends. I don't want a big suppe. they spoke in circles and did not please me. it was a bit repulsive. service could be more friendly."

"Came for the Saturday brunch with a group of 7, and all 7 of us had a wonderful meal. We tried a pretty broad range of menu items, and nothing we ordered was short of outstanding. Standouts included the Pan Francis (French toast), the red flannel hash, the steak salad, biscuits and gravy, and the soup of the day (a tomato coconut curry soup that was seriously awesome). The well-varied menu had so many interesting-sounding choices that we had a really tough time deciding what to order. From our experience, though, I don't think you'll go wrong with anything you choose.<br>

The restaurant is very allergen friendly, with LOTS of gluten free choices that are as flavorful as the regular menu. Even the gluten free bread was among the very best we've ever had.<br>

The decor is funky and the restaurant is a very pleasant space, looking out over a park area with large windows. An attractive place to share a meal with friends. If we had a complaint, the service was a tad bit slow, but given that we weren't in a hurry and were having such an enjoyable meal, this wasn't a deterrent in the least."

"To die for brownie. I 've actually never eaten lunch at the cafe. But I was introduced to the 'Judge Brownie ' by my daughter who works near the cafe. It is simply the best brownie I 've ever had. Absolutely.to.die.for. It 's a must-have treat whenever I visit Salt Lake."

"Went today around 1pm. I don?t know how much they make here and maybe the employees feel they are treated unfairly? Who knows. But all the employees were eating in the corner of the restaurant (different food from another restaurant) when we arrived, andthey continued to eat while we stood there waiting to pay. We ordered a hand made lemonade and the employee took the order andsat back down to eat. My boyfriend eventually walked over to her and said ?can we please get the lemonade? and then she made it.We also overheard two men speaking to them saying they had a big order that was missing half the food and the staff didn?t seemto care very much. Overall the staff seemed annoyed by customers, indifferent and unprofessional. Very young too. So it was abummer, because I love the food. Maybe working for chains is miserable orrrr these people just don?t like working. It was juststrange. Still tipped them though."
