"No place that applies to families with teenagers. have been visiting the farmer for years and was recently with my teenage son. there is a bar lounge (in effect a restaurant) as well as the boat bar that is known under the climbing community and is strongly highlighted in the website. unfortunately even if Scottish license law youth in bars with responsible adult allow that the clachaig has decided to have a plan that prevents this. When I asked to bring my son to enjoy the atmosphere, and as a commercial mountaineer, I was prevented from it. very sad and not necessary. a simple updating of their licensing plans would fix this and could be done if they wanted. I also tried to follow and in the did get the same answer; can not do a great place for adults only and families with young children, but not older children with their parents. with the lounge bar with young children and babies we returned to our room, tw and equipment not the plan for our weekend as vater and teen son. best to go somewhere else where you can enjoy all the facilities offered."

"It wasn't good for us. The young men fought for demand. both seemed inexperienced at providing table service, but were incredibly nice and apologetic. Forgotten water, a falling dosis of Irn-bru plonked on the table (without glass and no attempt to open) which then sprayed everywhere as soon as it was opened by my son. we asked, but never a towel to wipe the spillage. at the end of a journey into the bar and I myself cleaned. eating was bad in quality (although my steak was pretty good) and amount, but that was forgiven as we eat on the food out to help schema. we never complained in the night, left a tip from no other reason, then the young at the end did their best, we felt sorry for them, because I can only assume that they had a hard day at work (and none of them had.) This assessment is therefore asked in the hotel management team instead of the young men who do their best."

"Ew charging point on the parking lot, great view over the Moray fret on the black island, high-quality eating, but very small portions for the price tag, customer service is good, but not attentive, as about 20 minutes of delivery of bill in the restaurant to them come with the card machine. they gave me a few short lost found so I could enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna, so I am very grateful for it. good wlan in space areas. overall a great hotel, but for the prices I would expect that the friendliness / customer service would recommend a little more at the point."

"Stayed in a nearby guesthouse and had dinner at Loch view. The view is absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the service was friendly and prompt and we all enjoyed our meal. Meat was tender, seafood was fresh, local and everything was cooked very well. Good desserts."

"Had a lovely evening meal there last week. We were let down by another establishment and whilst wandering the high street we decided to try the Kitchen. This was a great decision, the food was tasty and plentiful, very fair prices for food and wine! Recommended!"

"Our favorite dinners (and breakfasts) in Scotland! We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at The Ferry Inn. It is beautifully decorated! The food was amazing! We loved every plate. Gordon and Anna were such a great hosts! I hope to get back to Scotland some day, and spend more time at The Ferry Inn. We had a wonderful stay!"
