What Adrian S doesn't like about Loch View:
Not a great experience, average food, nothing to complain about but nothing to commend it either. Pleasant staff, bar man served diet coke instead of a large tonic water but it was his first day! View all feedback.
The Loch View delivers on their name--a spectacular view of the loch. I had penne with a salmon cream sauce while my wife had pheasant Ballotine and both were delicious. The service was very pleasant and efficient and the view was stunning.
Went for dinner with friends last night food was great service was awful! 30 minutes after arriving we still hadn't had a drink order taken or asked if we wished to order food.,after we managed to get the waitresses attention food came out quite quickly (potatoes were cold) that was the last we saw the waitress we were not offered a dessert menu tea coffee when we asked for the bill and once the money was on the table she ran over. There was also a dog allowed to wonder about the restaurant area. Would not recommend as service was dreadful
Relaxed and enjoyable meal with friends.Menu is a step up from your average bar meals! Haggis balls and smoked salmon starters were amazing. My partner had the fish, which was lovely fresh.Sticky toffee pudding was stubbing with plenty of sauce.
