"Good service and good food! The cheese or spinach enchiladas are good. The Fajitas are even better. Some dishes can be a little salty, so I wonder if they can adapt it to taste. But overall I had only good experiences at both Garcia locations in San Marcos."

"Ate a late lunch there today. the bldg was a bit rough on the outside, but acceptable on the inside -unless you plan to eat the furniture. <br/ <br/ i ordered the breakfast beef fajita plate. it was solid -certainly good, but not exceptional. everything was fresh -the salsa somewhat spicy hot. The value was the standout. it was excellent.<br/ <br/ i wouldn't be in a race to get back, but would not put up a fight. i would recommend a first visit and you can decide if it's worth a return."

"Had a nice lunch today, with two friends at this fairly new location near my home in San Marcos. Got there shortly after they opened, so no parking problems, no waiting, and prompt and friendly service. Two of us had the Prime Rib Sandwich, her with a salad and me with the Aussie Fries (they're French Fries, but when in Sydney ... . We both loved the Prime Rib, and the side dishes were more than ample. I washed mine down with a refreshing Seasonal Ale from Stone. They have a great selection of Crafts...just ask. Our friend had one of the Burgers, which she enjoyed as well. The lunch prices were very reasonable, given the fare. Loved our young waitress, but unfortunately forgot her name. She was great, though! Only reason it's a 4 instead of a 5 is the lack of any real ambience. I wasn't expecting Crocodile Dundee, but maybe something to remind me that I wasn't at some other steakhouse."
