"Winnipeg has a dead spot for Mexican cuisine. This place tries really hard to be authentic with homemade sauces etc... not out of a pail, and the food is pretty good. A pretty good burrito with very good rice and beans... If you like your burrito prepared in a kitchen and not behind a spit guard window then this is Winnipeg's best bet."

"We needed a new restaraunt to try. This place looked interesting. Smells amazing when you walk in. Our waitress was prompt with our drink orders and with our food orders. We usually look at reviews before we go to a new restaurant, and for some reason we didn't on this one. I will say that we probably wouldn't have come given that reviews in the last month. But we are here now so we will give it a try. My husband ordered the brisket grilled cheese and the tortilla soup. He thought the brisket sandwich was good and the soup was not quite his style. But I liked the soup.I had the runway salad. It was very good and fresh. Can't really go wrong with a salad. The bread that came with it was tasteless though, and there should have been more dressing. The beets were cut up so small that it was difficult to taste them. I would have liked them a little chunckier. We sat in the lounge and they had a cooking show and game show on the t.v.'s . Not really what we would have liked in a lounge. Overall we will come back and try some different dishes."

"I was extremely satisfied with these tacos!??? The tacos were a bit on the small side but they were also quite inexpensive. They are authentic Mexican not Tex-Mex (if that matters to you). I would most definitely go here again and would recommend it to everyone I know. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The closest thing I have to a complaint is the tacos were drippy (but I think that's better than them being too dry)"

"Couldn't believe the freshness of the flour tortillas. Will be coming back next time will order a margarita. The decor is authentic and halfway through our dinner a Mexican performer on the accordion came in. Was a lovely treat!"

"Went to earls for a friends birthday. I’d never been to earls St vital before but the staff was really nice, i believe our server was Charmaine or Champagne? Drinks arrived quickly and the food was great quality for how cheap it was! Wish i knew about this gem sooner."
