"Our visit to Costa Coffee at just after 9 am was met with disappointment as the teacakes and jam were unavailable. Nonetheless, we opted for toast with butter, accompanied by a slice of the delightful lotus cheesecake, complemented by a flat white and chai latte. The service was prompt, delivering nicely hot beverages. The toast arrived still warm, and the generous portion of the delectable lotus cheesecake was truly enjoyable. The staff showcased patience and a welcoming demeanor, while the café maintained a clean and inviting ambiance. Regrettably, the absence of jam and teacakes was a downside. Nevertheless, this minor setback won’t deter us from considering future visits, given the overall positive experience."

"Ordered fish pies £6.49 each), when they came up it was a congealed mess with a hard skin on the top. It was served up with some dried up wrinkled peas that looked like they were prepared hours if not days ago. I took the meals back to complain, I go no apology from the manager, he simply was not interested and carried on loading his fridge with milk as if I was not there. I was offered an all day breakfasts which was about £2 cheaper £1 meal) and offered no refund. The breakfast came up in 2 minutes so it was not fresh. Looking at other reviews, Morrisons have done nothing to improve their service"

"Not your typical coffee shop at all. Lots of wonderful cakes and food plus blue monkey beer selection. However it's the atmosphere and decorations that make it outstanding. There are hats to try on lots of hats. Everything from wedding hats party hats posh hats and silly hats. The main theme is Alice in wonderland at the mad hatters tea party. A brilliant place to meet a friend or family for a beverage and catch up. They also do themed evening. I have been to the psychic evening with Jan Mayfield and she is amazing medium. She tells you exactly what she sees or hears and there's no hiding from the truth with Jan. The other special events are for mother and father day Greek night tapas night. The good is always freshly prepared and if you have dietary requirements phone in advance and they will bend over backwards to help you."

"We visited Mother's Day for the afternoon. I love afternoon and had many, and without doubt lady jayne is the best in the opposite! the quiche is the best quiche I've ever had! they get so much eat, be ready to take a few home, as it is impossible to fit everything! two glasses of ice or sorbet finish is a beautiful note that I never had on a afternoon tee anywhere else. it is a beautiful relaxed atmosphere and they added many small touches for Mother's Day. Make sure they book a table when they go, as it has only 6 tables inside, but has some outside that would be great with beautiful weather! a wonderful hidden shade I am reluctant to tell too many people about incase, it will be too popular to get a table! haha many thanks for their hospitality again!"
