"Nov 2021, Amazing service and food was delicious. Enjoyed the variety of beer and the wings and poutine...omg! Great job. 2019, Let's start by saying over the years, I have not always been happy with service or consistency and wait times to name of few. A few of these issues I read in reviews just now. Hard for me when the owners are friends but business is business and I work a food service job as well. Myself and 5 friends decided to eat there again last night based on location to a venue we had later. WOW! is what I have to say now since not eating there in over a year. Not sure if it's a new cook, menu upgrade or what but Blake's is back on my return list. The server was fantastic! She retained all 6 orders in her head and apps, didnt miss one detail. The draft beer was Super coldWas 1 other table in with us so not busy yet but the apps came out quickly, hot and the serving dishes so fun. All 6 of the main courses prepared are presented beautifully. Lots of food for the price per item. This location provides a cottage cabin atmosphere. Pool tables and perfect for a snow machine location stop. Looking forward to more wings, cold beer. Well Done"

"Would give it 0 if it let me. Super disappointed in our recent order of Sushi and the customer service when messaging about our complaints. We rarely ever get take-out but we love sushi and kept seeing such a great response to the new sushi offered here. We decided to give it a go and bought a fair amount for Valentine's Day as something special for myself and my hubby. I picked up and didn't check the food, came home and saw the most horrendous looking sushi ever, we hoped the look of it wouldn't match the taste but it did, it also fell apart horribly. Could not pick up one piece without it stretching apart and coming apart. We immediately noticed also that the salmon was smoked salmon and not sushi raw salmon. We spent quite a bit on food we couldn't eat, $135 with taxes in fact on 2 orders of the trio (orange, green, and dragon roll), 6 rolls of sushi. The black fish roe was leaking dye into the sushi, we didn't even know it came with fish roe. It was just so bad! I contacted through FB messenger and they were dead set that it was immaculate sushi and had a protocol in place in looking at orders before they are given, that it is quadruple checked and they would not be giving back a refund. I followed up with a message about customer satisfaction and then proceed with photos how awful it all was. They read the message and didn't response. I then messaged again and they didn't respond again. What we got is absolutely nothing like what they show on their Facebook page, complete false advertising and double the price of any sushi place. Nothing was done to rectify or do right by us the customers and offer us our refund. I will never buy from here again. If you love sushi, do yourself the favour and do the drive out of town!!!!"

"The room may be simple and the seating system a bit odd (you need to find a seat first, then go out to the counter to order, and they won't serve you unless you have a seat) ... but it's well worth it. Without exaggeration, this was one of the best big breakfasts I've ever had! Perfectly cooked eggs, fluffy pancakes, burnished and savoury hash browns, crispy bacon, scrumptious sausages, ham and toast ... Delish! The hash browns needed a dash of salt, but that's easily fixed. The staff were friendly and helpful too.They also have a proper coffee machine to make a strong and frothy cappuccino. Rarely can you get really good coffee and a great, classic breakfast at the same place. We would go again in a heartbeat, but might have to plan a run to work it all off ."
