"The price of the food is great. The atmosphere is nice too. We had a table of 5 and all plates were eaten clean, My husband enjoyed the food which he is usually fussy when it comes to trying new restaurants but even he said he would come back. I would love to see more activities for kids, especially a play area or something. There are not many kids friendly restaurants in the Redlands, and to have another one closer to home would be great."

"Manly, a beauty spot spoilt by low grade bars catering to visitors and locals with poor food and drink, this place has the views but very little else, a miss match of eating areas, poorly lit and shabby. The menu is basic at best, pub grub, big portions of typical chips with everything style dishes.The drinks menu is poor with bad choice of house wines. Unless your easy to please and very hungry don't bother with this dull sad place. The staff were pleasant."

"Awful awful awful place to eat! I've been here (Capalaba Park) 3 times, giving them the benefit of the doubt, hoping they just had a bad day the last time. But we will never be back after yesterday. And evidently, Shingle Inn Australia has no...plans on rectifying issues that previous customers have had, leaving customers disappointed and damaging their own reputation. Firstly, when ordering, they had run out of pancakes so my son had to choose a different option. He chose the kids pizza which was a JOKE! Literally just a thick pita bread that he couldn't even bite through, small enough to fill a side plate. When asked whether we wanted a tomato or bbq base, i assumed they meant pizza sauce. NO! They literally smothered it in plain old tomato sauce, the kind you dip your chips in. Then placed the ham and pineapple on top with nothing to hold it in place, so as soon as he took a bite, EVERYTHING FELL OFF! And I spent $10 on this monstrosity that he refused to eat. Then I received my eggs on toast. Which looked fine, nothing sinister. Then i took a bite and it tasted terrible. Turned the toast over to find it completely burnt, as they attempted to hide it by placing the non burnt side up and most likely scraping the burnt crumbs off the top. When we sent it back to be changed, they accepted it begrudgingly. And finally, after sending my food back because it was burnt, they had the audacity to bring my mother's filo out completely burnt as well. It was gobsmacking and i have no idea where these people learnt their customer service skills, but i seriously felt second hand embarrassment for them. At this point we were too defeated to complain and simply left. And wasted around $50 on this complete disappointment of a meal. We will absolutely never ever return."

"Unfortunately could only visit once. Bought their big burger and man was it lovely. I always order without sauce or beetroot so that I can really taste the result. Lovely tasting burger beautiful crispy fresh lettuce and huge bun. Top value unfortunately just there for...the day."

"Don't be put off by the fact that this looks like a shed attached to the neighbouring boat repairers, this is a quality dinery.Had a big breakfast which, unusually for Brisbane based establishments, didn't disappoint. In fact just the opposite. We've actually found somewhere that we are keen to return to, rather than the dozens of other joints whose fare is just about ok but rarely inspiring enough to go back again. Beautifully cooked and tasty crispy bacon & sausage (none of those tasteless 25000 / $1 awful things eat out breakfasts are usually lumbered with), mushrooms, beans & delicious toast (which we have a feeling was actually dry fried).I'd thoroughly recommend this as one of the better brekkie places available.For $20 they certainly put the likes of Coffee Club with their overpriced mediocre offerings to shame."

"This was the last place in Wynnum I hadn 't tried and boy was that a mistake it should have been the first! The whole time I 've lived here I 've been missing out! Best food in Wynnum dog friendly Not only was there a bowl of water, all the staff went out of their way to pat, play and give a treat to our pups! Loads of vego and vegan options as well as a special 'shred menu ' for something healthy, plus dairy and gluten free options everyone can find something here. My favourite part? THEY HAVE THREE VEGO BURGERS, I tried the mushroom burger and it was way better than Grill 'd, I 'm trying to stop myself from coming back again today,! Wonderful staff, amazing menu, thank you so much, I found my new regular spot!"
