"We have visited the Farmers Arms many times over the past few years party of 4) and the standards are getting worse on a weekly basis. The condition of the restaurant both externally and internally is very poor and the men's toilets not seen the ladies) is disgusting with constant leaks in various areas including cubicles and generally very very tatty. The food quality is not good and at peak times they keep running out of food in the self service area. The staff are generally friendly but there doesn't seem enough of them to ensure customers get a good service. The company has let the property fall into disrepair which is such a shame as it is in a nice area. If it doesn't address these problems soon it will lose a lot of customers"

"We use this place occasionally and the food, although limited in options, is generally very good and reasonably priced. Hygiene however is poor as we have discovered human hair in our food on more than one occasion so careful inspection is generally warranted. The staff on the servery, along with those waiting on table, do not wear a hair covering of any kind and seem to think that just tying their locks back will suffice. This facility is also dog friendly which usually starts alarm bells ringing with us and this place is no different. Seeing pet parents allowing there animals to recline on the furniture does not augur too well in the hygiene stakes. Neither does watching those staff waiting on table patting stroking dogs then returning to the kitchen area, only to reappear in a few seconds with the next order, instil any confidence in their own personal hygiene practices either."

"Another visit in the kuh shed, but I couldn't check out the special 3 cheese toast, it was soou tasty, just like any other dish that comes from her kitchen! it is on the autumn specialties so try it while they are especially when. they are a cheese lover! (sorry it is not so easy to see on the picture, but it is the court on the left side)"
