"The food is delicious. Perfect for lunch, and since I have a weakness for baked sweets, it had a lot of choices! I love the home made bread, too, and always stop there before I head home from my vacation and stock up on breads. Highly recommend."

"Really delicious and elevated. Portions are reasonable and the food is expertly prepared. The only downside is that we were at one of the smaller two person bench tables and the server had to wedge herself between us and the table next to us to serve them. It was pretty awkward to have her backside so close to our table quite a few times. It's a small restaurant. We would definitely return when the weather is nicer so we can sit outside. "Authentic Maine Breakfast. We heard this is where the locals eat, so had to check 'em out. Warm friendly place with fun joking between regulars and staff. The food was excellent and plentiful. Good food, good fun. Will be a regular stop for us."

"Food was overall excellent, I had the crab cake special and it was one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. My partner had the fried chicken sandwich and it was another winner. Smashed potatoes and biscuits were excellent, roasted cauliflower was a little underdone and over dressed with a not so flavorful sauce. Price was fair, and we were grateful they were open off season! My only comment about atmosphere would be to suggest to turn the lights down… it’s super bright and lowering the lights is an easy way to create coziness and warmth."

"Where to start. Its though to when there are so many good things to say about something. • Great tasting food, some of the best tasting food I have had in Maine. • Some of the hardest, working, most friendly staff I have encountered in a long time throughout my travels. • Very aesthetically pleasing. • If you plan on coming here, get here at 5 o’clock. I was here at 5 o’clock by accident and the wife and we stopped in and it filled up within the first 25 minutes. That should tell you something about the quality of food."

"We enjoyed eating here twice during our week on MDI. Primarily locals, we were the only tourist. Good selections on the menu. The pizza was excellent."

"We grabbed a slice of blueberry pie after a short hike. There were only a couple slices out on the display so I'm not sure how long the pie was sitting there. I appreciated the amount of blueberry filling and it wasn't too sweet, but wasn't particularly impressed with the pie overall. I'm sure it would've tasted better if it were more fresh! But otherwise really great filling to crust ratio."
