"Excellent food and a quiet atmosphere. Very friendly and courteous staff. The bar is quiet and friendly staff with a good variety of drinks. Nice combination of a hotel restaurant and bar and pre-theatre capability. Not inexpensive but quality is quality."

"We chose this restaurant because it was close to the theater, but were disappointed. There was only one vegetarian entree option which was a flatbread pizza. The pizza had about three times too much cheese which we had to pick off. The cracker crust was like stale saltines. The salad options looked intriguing, but were not tasty. The beet salad tasted like canned beets and no taste of za'atar. The kale salad was basic hohum. gratuity was added even though there were only of us. Very disappointing since this was our only night in the city and we wasted it here"

"Great food and service. The bar looked excellent too, but we had to drive home from NYC, so we weren't able to partake. They had live entertainment as well. The music portion of which was very nice, but they also had spoken poetry portions that would've been better down the street at a dim coffee house or something. Some of the poetry was a bit risqué and a little embarrassing to have to experience with our young, visiting niece. One piece in particular was totally inappropriate for hearing during a meal, and afterwards, the manager came over and apologized profusely. Seems that the artist didn't let anyone know that she was going to go off the rails that night so, surprise! But we laughed it off as a rare and quintessential Seinfeldesque New York moment. All the staff was very nice and the food was great so you really should check this place out. With the wonderful food, full bar, and live entertainment, you'll be in for a yummy, pleasant, and possibly surprising, experience."
