"This is obviously a NY staple, however the food was meh. It could be because we were just not used to the authenticity of the flavors but I wasn’t too impressed. It is also pretty expensive, the majority of our high tab was drinks.. which were just okay. I didn’t get a good picture of the rigatoni but it was definitely the better dish over the lasagna. We also had 2 desserts, the crepes and chocolate cake. We were not aware of the liquor in the crepes, it was super strong so we didn’t eat them.. although our expectations weren’t fully met I think this is a must try when coming to NY."

"The food is wonderful along with the extensive wine list, but it is very loud and difficult to have a conversation with someone at your table. There were two of us, so we sat very close to couples on both sides of us. It is a good way to meet people, but if you are looking for an intimate culinary experience, I would not recommend it."

"Last minute decided to go with another couple on a Saturday night, we tried to try Epicure. We'll be back soon! The Filet Migion Risotto was so delicious! A pair of Pinot Nior “Sideways” was perfect. My husband is a cook so we tend to be a bit critical when we try new restaurants and are too often not impressed. Food and service were a pleasure.
