"We arrived to Aldea Zama from CUN right after 8:00pm and this place was in about 5 minutes walk from the place we stayed in. We felt tired after a long flight from Vancouver and decided to go there and rest then. Everything was amazing there - food, service, ambiance itself and especially the owner Don who came by our table personally to greet us and have a little chat about this and that."

"Food is good, but quality is not consistent. The first time we ate here, food was pretty good, but the second time we ordered the same thing, and it tasted completely different.The service is very slow, and there are a lot of mosquitos. Worst of all, we shopped in the little store in the back. The clerk (a young lady from Argentina), did not even look up from her telephone when we entered. My wife made a comment about the price of an item in the store, being a lot cheaper in the states and the woman told her," Then why don't you go back to the US? People like this should not deal with the public. And... she is taking a job that a Mexican could be doing. Not good."

"I spent a great night having super fresh seafood with the best taste.. The place is so charming.. After our meal we were invited to have some Mezcal cocktails (which were delicious) and the music got us dancing latin music all night long. Great place to start your night with food and great Mezcal!!It is a must in Tulum!!"

"We've been coming to Tulum for 5 years, and not every change or new place is welcome in our eyes. Cocoa is a welcome addition, and we ate here at least once a day. Great intimate vibe, even better food, and very sweet hosts. You won't feel more welcome or more satisfied anywhere on the beach."

"Extremely glad we decided to choose Bak for dinner on our last night in Tulum. The service was outstanding and the food... off the charts! King Crab legs and Wild Salmon were amazing. Do yourself a favor and get dessert, can't remember the name, but the vanillamacadamia nut ice cream cake on oreo crust with hard chocolate topping... possibly the best dessert I've had. Service was amazing and sanitation during Covid was next to none"
