"I had my parents in from New England and we had celebrated my dads birthday and a very late Christmas. Everything was excellent. The food was great the service was the best I’ve ever had. The inside was beautiful. Parking was perfect. Love love love I’d go again!"

"Amazing menu and the food was delicious! I had a really hard time deciding what to get. Some restaurants try too hard to have a unique menu, but Madfish knocks it out of the park! The cuban salad rivals The Columbia's 1905. Every bit as good. The Bang Shrimp bowl was excellent with the perfect amount of spice. My husband had the lobster BLT and could only eat half it was so big. Our server Sonic was attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely worth the trip to Sarasota from Ft. Myers!"

"Ate at this restaurant in early October. Great location and service. However the food and sauces are too rich and heavy. Beautiful presentation but food items clashed with one another such as the risotto with hominy and the salmon with black rice, the entire dish was really sweet. The food needs to come together to match the expensive price. Service: 5 Location: 5"

"I previously had this place as 5 star. We have been there 5 times since Christmas and it was always 5 star from service to food to drinks. Today I went and had to lower the rating to 3 stars : . Previously the food was so good and today it was very strange. Things had an off taste and anything fried was VERY deep fried to the point of being DARK brown and dripping grease. Sadly I had the Fried soft crab , the truffle fries and an appetizer of hush puppies. Everything was not so great ,because the weird off taste and the grease. It's usually lightly browned and not dark and greasy. My companion also ordered his usual which was not fried anything but said it just tasted so so today. Service was still top notch as usual and the bar drinks were superb. UPDATE again. This place started out 5 stars. Then dropped to 3 stars because the food started being definitely not as good. Now , sorry to say I have to go even lower to 2 stars. We tried again and the service was so bad we just had to leave."
