"Had the Hawaiian Poke today. Lotsa of variety including greens, brown rice, ginger, sprouts and the tuna. Compared to the Poke's I'm used to from Oahu no sauce on the tuna and minimal quantity. Some sauce would bring more highlight. My better half had the vegetarian tofu and it looked tasty. Very nicely presented but left still a little hungry. Small and cosy so wait till the lunch crowd finishes or there will be await. Friendly staff."

"As neither of us are living in Vancouver, the idea of fresh West Coast seafood was very appealing. We started with a platter of oysters, 3 different types, 4 oysters each, served with horseradish which was tasty but grated a little too thickly. They also provided three different sauces, and some Tabasco sauce and a slice of lemon. I liked that there were lots of options. Then we shared our mains: halibut and black sable cod. Delicious, and tastes and textures that aren’t found in Australian fish. So, this really was a great treat. We also had some very tasty Brussels sprouts, that seemed to maybe have a bit of a batter on them, and washed it all down with a bottle of Albariño. Oh, and we loved our waitress who had such a funny, upbeat personality, it made us smile whenever she was at the table. A great, memorable meal. $100 each, including a tip."

"I ordered the yakisoba, the salmon roll, and a piece of spicy tuna nigiri. All of it was amazing, as was the service! I can't believe I don't come here more often! The menu has a lot of good sounding options on it, and beers are only $4.50. I wanted to take pics, but I hate doing that... I recommend this place!"

"Who said you can't have beer with dessert? Take it from me - Dark Matter ale and cheesecake rock! Eight of us descended on the pub around 2:15 one Sunday after a long walk. It's conveniently located right below the Marine Drive Skytrain Station, and has an interesting variety of beers on tap together with a full menu. The rest of the group ordered lunch from the menu, ranging from soup to pies and all reported their food to be delicious although the servings were a tad small for the price. I say stick to beer and dessert in the afternoon! Service and the environment were great."

"Loved this place and our server! We came in from Texas and wanted a steak. We also had the chicken tacos and fish tacos, both were excellent! Drinks were great too! And again our service was so friendly and made it even more enjoyable for us!"

"There’s no dessert, but don’t despair, ALL the drinks will distract and delight you!! The Shameful Tiki room serves the best hand shaken drinks over perfectly smashed ice. Complemented with fresh juices, fancy rum, and delicious garnishes, these drinks won’t disappoint. And neither will the food, especially if you’re a fan of pork. I ended up with the pupu platter because I could not decide. The staff are extremely charismatic and helpful and the ambiance… incredibly surprising. Make sure to make a reservation, because this place fills up fast."
