"This was booked by friends of ours who have good local knowledge so we were very happy to let them propose somewhere in a tourist area. The restaurant has great history. We all had something different (Lamb, Steak, Duck Salad) which was all excellent....I would not hesitate to go back to this place when next in town."

"I ate at the snack that is adjoining the restaurant so my opinion is only on the snack .on ordered raw chicken sandwich or I always look for chicken in the sandwich. The bread for a country renowned for its bakery is really not respect the customers, impossible to chew a limestone worthy of the sandwiches sold in the distributors when at the panini order those are arriving without being toaster the base when making snacks like what.Finally the list is long I stop theresnack to avoid price too high for a higher quality than mediocre."

"We went there by recommendation of a French couple and we were not disappointed. The food was good and the lunch menu was value for money. It included one main course of faux filet and a dessert of raspberry crumble. My husband took this menu....I ordered fresh oysters which were delicious and filet de merlu which was nicely cooked and accompanied by tasty raspberry vinaigrette. We ordered one liter of water and two coffee. We paid 52€. The price was on a medium end. I was impressed with the Arcachon sparkling water that was served in a wine-like bottle. Quite amusing to see when the waiter opened the seal as if he opened a wine bottle. The service was efficient and we didn't need to wait too long. The location is super and faces the nice calm lake."
