"Not sure whether this is called a brasserie, eckbar, caffe or something else. service something hit or miss, but friendly. many local specialties through the glass. we both had to start the Rilletten tarts; sounded like a strange combination, but a...very delicious. the lapin was one of the most tasty ones we had in France, although the corkscrew pata seemed to be a strange supplement. great brot. a beautiful appleted with ice finished a surprisingly delicious meal."

"Arrived around 4pm, we are told that they do not serve coffee, tea or chocolate. The blur or probably not profitable enough. Just friendly server. Music type the largest discotheque in the world volume 748 hyper fort (we were on the terrace at the entrance). A waiter started to pass the vacuum cleaner just behind us. It was very relaxing in parallel to atroce music.. The more it was going to the volume of music was growing, we understood, we're probably disturbing you. The boss came to cut the music because we didn't even agree to settle the bill, but it was already too late."

"Delicious meal in a family run restaurant nestled in a quiet cobblestone medieval town. The service was faultless and the food served to us was almost to pretty to eat. We were brought an enticing selection of amuse Bouche , the highlight being a tiny...pumpkin soup. The beef was knockout and goats cheese drizzled in honey, the best I have ever had. It’s not cheap, but this is French cooking at its best and we all deserve a treat !"

"I was surprised that a bakery would rate so highly but we saw why. During our week in Chinon we dropped by 4 times. The breakfast pastries and deserts were truly sublime, and quite reasonable."
