"In addition to the counter seating in the front, a back room with traditional low dining tables can accommodate private (or semi-private) parties. I've attended two such parties of four; on one such occasion we were separated from another party by a folding room divider. This can be a bit problematic if they smoke and you don't, but overall I have enjoyed the food and the hospitality. Oh, and there is a nice selection of local and regional sake to enjoy."

"飲食店を探すときに、定食系で、できればお安くて、味も信頼できて...となった時、最後の砦はまるまつさんになります。旅行や仕事で色んな土地に行き、知らない土地でお店を探すのはいつも大変ですが、探し疲れて動きたくない時に、まるまつの看板を見つけると、なんだかホッとします。安い、ということもありますが、温かい食事冷たい食事両方あるし、季節メニューもあるので、今はどんなフェアをやってるかな？ と見てみるのも楽しいです。 遅い時間までやっている定食屋さんってあまりないので、遅い時間のまるまつ利用は非常に助かります。 味にしてもコスパにしても、 私にとっては『安心のまるまつ』です。"

"Very nice curry restaurant. The owner offered me to order potato salad when I ordered spicy chicken curry. That was pretty good combination. The potato salad contains some tuna and some spices. All the spices they use is very effective to make everything great."
