"It’s been ages since I’ve dined out in Hamilton CBD. Coming home and looking at all the new restaurants like the Bluestone Steakhouse after all these years means Hamilton is heading in the right direction in terms of being a culinary hotspot.<br/ <br/ The cocktails here are FANTASTIC! What’s funny is that I can't even really remember which cocktails I ordered since they were all so good that we had like 4-5 each and as a result our night became rather blurred. From what i remember in terms of tasting the mushroom pasta was delightful! Full of fungi flavour and the creamy sauce resulted in a rather substantial meal. The mash that came with the steaks were awesome and the steaks themselves juicy. Bluecheese sauce and pepper one would be my favorite sauces. <br/ <br/ Credit to the staff, our table at the time was rowdy and they handled us with the best professionalism!<br/ <br/ Showstopper: Cocktails, mushroom pasta and steaks.<br/ <br/ Overall Grade: A"

"All round good spot. Had the 500g tomahawk. Wait staff her attentive and helpful. Good was good and close to excellent. Steak was about as good as you can get in a restaurant. Overall top shelf experience. Would recomend to others and probably bring family back here. Good job would high recommend."

"The food gets four stars the staff get one star My favorite would have to be the tuna avocado sushi. Always tastes great each and every time. Pitty about some of the staff. Not the most pleasant to be near. To the old man re-stocking out the front. When you were asked if there was any more of the tuna sushi available. You did not even respond to me, yet you went through your pile of sushi, and placed it down. When you could have just handed it to me. No common sense at all."
