"Prawn on the lawn is a casual restaurant serving fresh seafood at an affordable price. the service is very attentive and fast. the only part is that it smells a little fishy! the basement seating area is quite small so I would reserve a table before the time. I would suggest the thunfish,- mussels and scallop ceviche."

"Actually we random searched nearby restaurant which not far from our hotel and we were lucky to get table because we didnt know that we had to book prior and we didnt expect that small restaurant offered very yummy japanese food, i loved miso soup, it was simple but the taste of soup totally different which i had before and sushi is very delicious and fresh fish."

"Was sat at a table where the closed french windows to the garden were behind me there was a draft and the room was cold. When trying to order a main course the waiter kept telling me everything would take over half an hour to cook. I think this was to get me to order a starter. But I wanted to order a main a dessert. Finally I chose the lamb chops. One was very pink, the other 2 over cooked. All were tough! When taking the dessert order the waitress didn’t know the difference between an ice cream ‘ a sorbet! She had to call over a waiter to answer the question. Service was very slow. I’ve eaten here many times and it has always been good. In fact I wrote a review only a month ago saying how superb this restaurant was. This visit was very disappointing."

"I went to naan express today during my lunch break. I ordered a Samosa chaat and a veg samosa. the order lasted one because there were only two people, one the order and the other to make the food. The Samosa Chaat I felt was okay not to rave. the personal was friendly. I would return to this place to try their rolling, but I think I will pass on their samosas."

"Great eating at an affordable price. on certain days, depending on the season, they can try some specials that are not on the menu that I think is really cool. the shop is very authentic, just like the in japan, very humble and relaxed. it really feels nostalgic there. the personal is super friendly, really nice service. I think it is the best they will find in london, unless they want a poor and a bein only in a chic decorated room for the same quality of the food."

"Côte brasserie is a chain French restaurant that I have seen popping up all over London. I came to the Islington branch for a large family gathering and was quite excited due to my love of the French cuisine. The interior is quite representative of a chain restaurant, with a large number of tables packed into a small venue. That said, it was quite ambient with dim dinner lighting and brown leather booths and sofas as seating. The waiter who took our drinks order seemed quite rushed and was a little stand offish. However a very charming waiter served us for the rest of the meal, so everyone remained happy. For mains we ordered two salad Niçoise, a steak frites, a vegetable risotto and moules frites. We had one vegetarian in our party and she felt that the vegetarian options were quite limited. Nevertheless, everyone seemed happy with their final choices. I had the moules frites and found my portion extremely generous and very filling. The mussels were meaty and served in a delicious garlic and cream sauce. The salad Niçoise was also recommended, served with a tender tuna steak as opposed to tinned tuna. For desert we had two creme caramels, a chocolate mousse, a tarte citron and a chocolate fondant. The chocolate mousse was drastically larger than the other deserts and perhaps a little too filling after a large meal but altogether tasty."
