"Have been here a few times if travelling up north coast-the cafe is up some steep stairs and can fill up quickly, there are tables outside, but too cold yet for that. Menu is good, and reasonable prices, but fry is very very greasy, plates of mine and both friends where swimming in grease, mainly from the bacon eggs and mushrooms. Would it be too hard to put the bacon etc on kitchen roll before serving it ? I asked one of the girls why the food was so greasy, she just looked embaressed and shrugged. The staff are nice enough, but can be a bit sharp with foreigners. I noticed last time we were in 3 of the women staff went out for a smoke, didn`t see any of them wash their hands when they came back in. Also no staff wearing hair-nets or hats which isn`t great, especially those in the kitchen. Take note, it`s cash only, no card machine, but there is a Spar ATM and other shops nearby. They told me the internet connection is not reliable in the area of a card machine, yet other shops in the village have them, so make of that what you will. All in all it`s okay, but the hygiene is suspect and food can be really very greasy especially the fry up, which is just down to laziness."
